Tea in the United States covers everything from a traditional Chinese or Japanese tea house to a Southern sweet-tea counter, and the fastest-growing segment is bubble tea: Taiwanese-style milk teas and fruit teas with tapioca pearls, sold by chains and independents alike with adjustable sugar and ice levels. Tea rooms serving afternoon tea with scones and sandwiches usually require a reservation, while boba shops, juice bars and smoothie shops are walk-in and quick. Kava and kombucha bars are a newer category, and loose-leaf tea stores sell blends, teaware and gifts, often with a tasting counter. Prices for a drink run similar to coffee-shop prices, with premium teas and cold-pressed juices at the high end.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 10 am–6 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Tin Roof Teas at (919) 834-9000; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, tinroofteas.com.

Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Raleigh follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Well, I can I say ; amazing. I walked in that store. I think eight years ago and they helped me with Tea with my medicine and all getting decaf I've been buying and trying all different kind of teas. every time you walk in customer service in that store is outstanding , spectacular and amazing. We moved to PA and guess what I order it and they ship it. I hope they never close because I always drink tea leaves and they have a wide selection and if I call them, they help me out : so I would give them 100 stars. I've told many people here in PA and down south about the store.they love it as much as I do

Excellent experience. David was a true help. He analyzed our individual likes, and suggested perfect teas and drinks for three different tastes…and nailed it! Definitely making this my destination for all of my tea needs :)

A lovely tea shop. The employees are very helpful and the teas are incredible. I've longed searched for a tea shop in the area and this one by far is the greatest. I love that they have a tea bar that you can order from to relax a bit or take it to go.

It's a very interesting concept for tea lovers and I really appreciate the fact that it exists in Raleigh. I didn't think I'm a tea connoisseur to fully appreciate all the nuance this place has to offer. The teas are distinct and very unique. Don't expect any tea bags in this place. Everything is very fresh. Well done πŸ‘

Ahhh. This one makes me sad. I had never been to Tin Roof Teas and have been soooo excited to finally come and ready to purchase many items! Me and my friend walk in and there were 2 employees (lady and man). The man was with a customer, however, the other employee was not. No one greeted us at all. So, we decided to explore on our own to try to figure out their offerings. Then, I believe the owner or manager walks out from the back. I said to myself, surely, he's going to greet us..... nothing. He went on telling the lady employee how she needed to do something and continued to restock his shelves. I'd say it was a total of 12 minutes that went by and I decided to walk over to the "honey bar". This is where it gets worse, the lady continued to stand near the register talking with the owner or manager, it almost felt like an intentional refusal of acknowledgement. The other employee was fully available but he didn't ask did we need help either. I walked to the lady after realizing that neither of them were going to come over to the honey bar and ask if we needed anything. I began to ask (in a kind manner) about their shop and she said "I mean, what are you looking for? this area
